Is an "Uber promo code" the same as a referral link?
"Uber promo code NZ", "Uber discount code", "Uber coupon", and "Uber referral code" are all searches for a ride discount. Historically Uber ran a rider referral programme, a link or code that gave new riders discounted trips, and that is what most pages (including this one, previously) advertised. Uber has since stopped it: the referral links no longer resolve, so there is no public code to enter. How to find current Uber ride promos
- Install the Uber app (rides, not Eats-only) and sign in, or create an account if you're new.
- Open Payments → Promotions.
